The week in review

Politically: Parties are readying themselves for an election. But when that election will be is the question at this point. If the NDP agree, there could be a confidence vote on the 15th of November(tuesday) and the liberals would lose. But that would force an election sometime around christmas, which isn't ideal for voter turnout, and the general public would not be pleased. The other option is to let the liberals live until the final gomery report comes out and have a feb-march election. Probably better for voters, but the liberals may have time to rebound int he polls, something which the opposition(especially conservatives) do not want at all, They want to strike while people are still angry about the sponsorship scandal.

Sports: Today is semifinal sunday. woot. The conference semifinals happen today and hopefullyi will be able to catch most of both games. Go eskies> after blowing a big opportunity last week, they have to bounce back this week or else it is done. Ray has to step up. 3 picks last week was brutal and no TD's in 5 weeks is even worse.
But edmonton does seem to bounce back fairly well in games like this so i'll say edmonton will win

In the other game I am cheering for the Riders but think that the Als will probably pull it out.

I think now i am going to be busy busy until the end of the semester--eeek. By far my toughest semester to date, but that being said, I am enjoying it, one of the only times i've done that either.

Cheers
