Moments of Importance.

Have you ever looked back on moments of your life that were seemingly unimportant only to realize they shape your life in a monumental way. Early November 2004 holds one of those moments for me.

I was early for class. I had about 20 minutes and so I took the time to walk into the Career services centre just to see what kind of summer jobs were opening up. I stumbled upon a job posting for Parliamentary guide and thought "what the heck". I had no guiding experience, I had no experience with children, I sort of spoke french. It seemed like a long shot but worth the experience of applying. Two and a Half years later, that short stop has moved me to Ottawa with a supervisory position at parliament, and I will probably stay here for awhile. So showing up 20 minutes early to class has Moved me to Ottawa. Crazy.
