Odds and Odds

No actually things are going uber well over here. Moving in the next few weeks into a new apartment so that will be fun times for sure especially as my roomate will be none other than Marina! exciting.

I went to Montreal last weekend. A very very cool city indeed! THe metro is great, I went to see some football and then in the same day some IMprov, drank some beers and watched movies with friends. A successful weekend indeed

I saw 2001: A space Odyssey and I must say that movie is not awesome. SO boring. I suppose the effects were great for its time, but yikes! At least I can now better understand many many cultural references from that movie.

We are getting record amounts of rain here- but at least it was 16 degrees yesterday!

Transit San Fran story

I know its been ages since I went to Sanfran but I have told this story a few times and have been asked to repeat it so i will write it on here.

So Alex and I were on a bus heading back to our hostel one afternoon and we were near the back of the bus on the sideways faceing seat. Across from us were 2 drunk-high-crazy men who smelt like alcohol and were chattering away. One guy decides to start talking to us and telling us how jail was no fun and we should stay out of it. While he is doing this , his friend start to punch himself in the head violently. The other guy (the one talking to us) proceeds to grab the face-puchers neck and calm him down....at first it looked very humane and thoughtful of him...until he then slammed the guys head into one of the metal bars that busses often have..really really hard. We are talking concussion hard. The other guy didnt seem to mind too much and just didnt say anything else for the rest of the trip.....but its not over yet


On the forward facing seat closest to us was a lady who had a very nice purse. Shortly after the head banging event, she started asking people on the bus how much she should charge for the purse she had just stolen.....

That is when we got off the bus
